Jeremiah 22:12-14

¹³ Woe to the man who builds his house without righteousness
    and his upper room with injustice,
who forces his neighbors to work for nothing
    and gives them no recompense for their labor,
¹⁴ who says, “I will build myself a spacious home
    with large upper rooms,”
and who inserts windows in it,
    panels it with cedar,
    and paints it with vermilion.
